One of our very first "dates", Mitchell was in Phoenix for work and we grabbed dinner at the Whole Foods hot bar before Kathryn headed into her shift at the hospital. Mitchell asked if we could take this picture and the rest is history.

At the start of our relationship, we spent a lot of our free time renovating Kathryn's condo in Midtown. Turns out Mitchell is pretty handy, and thank God because it required some WORK.

On a weekend getaway to Prescott, AZ with some of our friends, we shared our first "I love you".

Mitchell grew up spending summers in Montana at his family's cabin in Seeley Lake, so it was very special for him to be able to share it with Kathryn.

We celebrated Christmas in Bloomington! Since his first trip, even Mitchell has his favorite must-visit restaurant list just like everyone else in BloNo.

Mitchell transferred to Phoenix and bought a house! And yes, he symbolically wore the same outfit as our first picture together.

Mitchell started working from Papua, Indonesia. His rotations keep him on island for 8 weeks, followed by 3 weeks off. At the same time, Kathryn began her own work adventure, traveling around the country as a travel nurse. We sure put the 'distance' in long distance relationship!

We started traveling together during Mitchell's rotations off. Our first big trip took us to Bali, Singapore, and Qatar. Pictured is Kelingking beach which is famous for its mountain in the shape of a T-rex.

Our next big adventure took us to Istanbul, Santorini, and Athens. Pictured behind us is the Hagia Sophia.

We were lucky enough to take a trip with some of our very best friends to Colombia and Ecudaor. We celebrated Carnival in Barranquilla with lots of aguardiente and dancing!!

This past summer, our travels took us to Morocco and Portugal. We had a drink at Rick's Cafe in Casablanca, explored the winding medina in Marrakech, and ate too many Pastel de Nata to count in Lisbon.

In Petra, Jordan, illuminated by candles, Mitchell proposed!
